This tour visits the lakeside village of Kapikiri, home to the ruins of the ancient city of Herakleia. The past and present are intertwined in this traditional village where modern stone architecture and authentic local life sit side by side with Hellenistic ruins. We’ll explore the village, both modern and ancient, before enjoying a classic Turkish breakfast in Agora Pension, a Michelin bib gourmand pick offering an entirely homemade spread of the best cheeses, olives, jams, bread, and garden fresh vegetables imaginable.
